You can participate by contacting any of the people below. If you can’t see your country listed, drop us a line and we will work with you to establish a P4P event in your country. Be part of history!
Typically, the events begin on 9am on the day. We suggest you have a registration on the day @ 7am. Everyone is welcome. You can paddle in a SUP, Kayak, Dragon Boat, surfboard, canoe or anything that floats! There is no set format, although we encourage paddlers to come up with a format that works with your particular waterway. e.g.) You might like to make it a competition or a relay. The length is also up to you. Most of our events also collect rubbish from the ocean and beaches on the day. This we feel is an added bonus and helps to drive awareness.
Each participant/ spectator is expected (but not obligated) to donate US$10 to take part and this is to be paid via our Paypal button on our website or via the area coordinator.
On our website we have a series of official Paddle for the Planet official templates (these include the Paddle for the Planet logo with the three official partners (ICF, IDBF & Kryptonite) that can be used to promote the event. Important to note that the format must follow the logo template. Adding in local details (location etc.) is fine.
However, no corporate sponsors logos should be added unless they have been approved in writing by either Dale Rennie, Thea van der Westhuizen or Nick Hando. The event is all about raising awareness and raising funds for our precious oceans.
Supporting sponsors logos are fine to have, but as a Non profit organisation, we need to know the details of how they are adding value. Most importantly, what they are willing to donate to the cause.

Corporate
We welcome corporations to get involved in any of the following ways:
1. Sponsoring our event locally or globally
2. Licensing the Paddle for the Planet brand.
If you are interested in getting involved, please provide us a formal email outlining exactly what you would like to do. We have distinct goals on fund raising and event awareness.
